“One of the most beautiful, cozy, and relaxing places I have ever stayed. The beds were so comfortable and the fireplace was something out of a movie. The woodwork was my favorite part. This woodwork should be in magazines or television. You have to see it! My family loves the Adirondacks and this will be the place we continue to stay. Thank you to the owner for making our vacation such an amazing time.”

“This home is clean, big, awesome, and the rustic look and feel is truly Adirondack! Whoever built this home takes great pride in their work. The kitchen is plenty big with a lot of counter space. All of the appliances are top-quality. With four bedrooms and baths, there was plenty of space for sleeping, and no one had to wait to go to the restroom…what a plus for eight adults. The gazebo does have a wood-burning stove for those who like a wood fire, but the inside gas fireplace was a no-brainer to use…and no clean-up! There is also a pavilion with an outdoor kitchen for use in warmer weather. The heating on the ground level is from the flooring…so nice when you have to get out of bed. To get into the home, all you have to do is go up 3 easy steps, which is not bad for those with bad knees or some mobility problems. We have rented homes where you had to climb a hill and stairs just to get inside. That is not so nice when you have to carry your things and supplies. There is PLENTY of parking around this home. I must confess that I did miss a small porch to sit on, but it wasn’t a big deal. The beds and sofas were also very comfortable. One small suggestion: this home can sleep 11, another 3-person sofa in the living room facing the fireplace would be sweet. The space can handle it! Also, wifi and top-notch Dish channels were a plus. Gore Mountain entrance was like a three minute ride, and the town of North Creek for the supermarket, restaurants, and other shopping was about a 7 minute drive away, so everything is convenient. Kerrie is swift with her communication regarding the home. She was also quick refunding the deposit. It was a pleasure renting this home. You will not be disappointed!”

“Our group of 3 families just returned from a fabulous week at this gorgeous home! We loved everything about the house, from the beautiful Adirondack detailing to the brand-new appliances to the cozy living space, with 2 leather recliner sofas. Truly no expense was spared in making this an ideal vacation home. We especially appreciated that the 3 couples each had their own private suite, and the kids had their own space (and bathroom!) in the loft. It is even more spacious than it appears in the photos. The outdoor pavilion and gazebo were a fun place to hang out in the evening after skiing since we had such mild weather. The kids had fun making smores in the outdoor fireplace after Marty, the owner, stopped by to say hi and drop off firewood. Marty and Kerrie, the property manager, were wonderful in promptly returning e-mails and phone calls to answer our many questions before and during our stay, and our security deposit was returned via PayPal by the evening on the day we left. It was a 5-minute drive to the Gore base area and a 10-minute drive to “downtown” North Creek, where there is a Tops supermarket, as well as lovely restaurants, bakeries, and other shops. The only negative, which is no fault of the owner, is the spotty cell service and wifi. But even the kids (mostly teens addicted to their devices) agreed that the house was worth giving up the internet for a few days, and our friend who had to get some work done just took his laptop to the Gore base lodge after skiing one afternoon and did it there. We’re already planning our next trip there and hope to rent this spectacular home again!”

“This house is HANDS DOWN the best house I’ve ever stayed in. Our friends and I go on our yearly white water rafting trip and this house was 10 mins away. When we got here, our jaws dropped with how clean and spacious this house was. There is an outdoor fire place and bbq grill for us to enjoy the great outdoors. The cleanliness of the place is on point!! We’re definitely coming back again !!”

“We stayed at the chalet to see the beautiful fall colors of the Adirondacks. The chalet has everything you need for a perfect vacation and all of the kitchen appliances were new and top notch. Everything was clean and new! So many stunning details, from the incredibly comfortable handmade rustic wood beds to the Adirondack decor. The outdoor area is an amazing place to relax and stargaze after an awesome day of hiking! We will not stay anywhere else when visiting, perfect for ski season or any time of year.”
